Federal Government College New Bussa is now a mixed school founded in 1974, situated on Wawa road, Newbussa, Niger State... The school was created by the Nigerian government as one of the federally funded Unity schools to bring together students from regions across Nigeria. The school has facilities for both boarding and day students. Students (now Boys and Girls) range from Junior Secondary One (JS1) through Senior Secondary Three (SS3). Students must complete the Federal Common Entrance Exams in order to apply for attendance

Federal Government College New Bussa was formerly a an all-girls school up until Third Term 2018/2019 academic session, but now a mixed school (Boys and Girls), founded in 1974, and situated on Wawa road, New Bussa, Niger State. It's exciting to see that my Daughter has made very good progress in many areas while at FGGC Newbussa. Most importantly, She likes to go to school, and has become interested in learning. FGGC Newbussa feels like a real community and has been a very welcoming place for both my Daughter and me.

FGGC Newbussa is an amazing, inclusive place and a wonderful fit to our preferred approach of learning balanced with play time. Our daughter really thrives at FGGC Newbussa and the teachers do a phenomenal job encouraging her development. We also really like the parents community and how we connect through our children and the various activities the school organises throughout the year.
